My wife and I chose Saratoga decades ago for its low-density housing, excellent schools, parks, and quality of life. Our children graduated from Saratoga High School.
I have BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue. I worked at Tandem, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard as an engineer, individual contributor, and manager.
For the past several years, I have actively attended City Council, Planning, and Finance meetings, working with residents to protect Saratoga''s future.
My priorities are preserving Saratoga's character, completing the 2031 Housing Element on time to prevent future Builder's Remedy projects, I favor a state constitutional amendment taking housing and zoning decisions from Sacramento.
Public safety means traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and stronger wildfire evacuation preparation. The City's operating costs continue to outpace revenues, while infrastructure, especially hillside streets, has been underfunded for too long.
The Council must focus spending on essential services, maintenance, and critical public safety projects.
